proposed Government House, the only public building of any consequence which now remains to be built.
I must here remark that Sir John Davis estimates the annual receipts at £28,700; but for reasons assigned by the Treasurer, I fear that I cannot calculate upon more than £27,000. I enclose an Abstract showing the ways and means of this Colony for the present year, made up under my instructions, together with one made up by Sir John Davis.

Having been directed by His Excellency the Governor to prepare an Estimate of the probable Revenue and Expenditure of the Colony for the Financial year commenced on the 1st Instant, I have revised the documents which were sent in to Sir John Davis in September last, and have the honor to forward to you His Excellency's consideration, what I conceive to be the correct Estimate required. The Estimate of the Civil Disbursements will be found the same as that furnished from this Office by order of Sir John Davis in September, and therefore calls for no particular remark.
